I found this amazing pumpkin carver’s work in the web, he does amazing works of art and this time he did a wonderful CLOWN PRINCE OF CRIME. Just look at this masterpiece and a fast paced summary of the artist’s work. The master-carver is ANDY BERGHOLTZ.

After a short visit to the Artist’s Alley for some autographs and visual self gratification (like I bought some nice art at the alley…) and a few panels on writing for comics (Yes, I STILL want to write for comics someday…never too old for dreaming) I had my happy run through the Exhibition Floor and grabbed the newest Joker wonders to hit the market this year and the next. I FINALLY FOUND ONE!
I had mentioned before that I had to pass on this sculpture in order to get the BTAS Joker Maquette…not realizing how quickly ithis one flew out of the shelves and how quickly its price rocketed to almost insane levels. Luckily, I was able to find one for the right price, and now my Joker statue collection is complete ( for now that is…) making my Jokerholic heart burst with joy (*squeal*). Here is the new member of the Joker’s Funhouse Museum…. (drum roll please)

Batman Movies 2013 Calendar
For those of you out there following the toy industry, you probably know the 2012 TOY FAIR was held in New York this past February 12-16. In it Kotobukiya, the renowed Japanese toy and sculpture maker has announced the release of a series of new JLA and Batman-related statues in 2012. Among them, caught my attention the one forFrank Miller’s BATMAN THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS JOKER AND BATMAN SCULPTURE from their ARTFX series.
Tentative release date of this figure is the 3rd quarter of 2012. Here is ia pic:

I know from my previous post about DC Direct’s new Joker figures for 2012 everybody has been waiting for a date for these figure’s release. Well, WAIT NO MORE for the ARKHAM CITY JOKER TITAN and the new JOKER BLACK AND WHITE have a release date. Here is the latest information from their DC DIRECT RELEASE CATALOG this month
