Rapper MC Chris has released an advanced version of his Joker rap as a preview of his oncoming FOES, a collection of songs inspired in Batman’s deadliest foes to be released later (hopefully soon).

Though have to admit that rap is not my thing, I found the song intriguing and quite accurate on depicting the Joker’s personality.  Though I still prefer the JOKER’S SONG by Miracle of Sound, I think this version is worth of being shared with Jokerdom. So Click on the Joker below to go to the song… (WARNING:  CONTAINS EXPLICIT LYRICS that could be offensive to some.  Proceed at your own risk.)

(Thanks to the great people at CBR for the original report HERE.  And thanks to MC Chris for creating this great song!)

His name is Philip Bonneau, and his comic book inspired exhibit titled HEROES AND VILLAINS will open on April 7th at the MISTER  Center(the gay and bisexual mens’s community center) in Atlanta. Bonneau’s style is strong, and fresh and his reinterpretation is a combination of new aesthetic and dynamism. Not everybody might be into reinterpretative photography, but I personally like how the photographer uses the poses, props and paint to create a refreshingly unique (and sometimes comical) picture of what are iconic heroes and villains of the DC world.

Of course, no DC roster would be complete without our infamous Clown Prince of Crime on center stage, and as it happens he is part of this exhibit as well as other familiar faces like Superman, Aquaman, Lex Luthor, Wonder Woman, Catwoman, Batman and Robin along with pulp-fiction era classics as Zorro and the Shadow.  Here are some of the picture of the exhibit. Feel free to click on the thumbnails and for more or Bonneau’s photographic art visit his Flicker page HERE.

Just surfing the net finding good stuff for the new site I found these incredible miniature pieces of art.  The company is called KNIGHT DESIGNS and are located in Europe, selling their kits world wide. The quality of the miniature is incredible, and for those with the talent to paint and assemble these kits, this is indeed a great way to express your artistic side.  The only thing is to find them (which I can of found a little hard, unless you knew what you were looking for, so I decided to help in your search for Joker miniatures).

They vary from 35 mm (about 1.4 inches) to 75 mm (about 3 inches) in height and the unpainted/un-assembled sets are varied in its content and made of white metal or high quality resin, reproducing even the smallest of details.  Here are a few samples of some of the kits that have been produced  and pay notice that at the time of this post, some of them might have sold out (*tear runs down cheek*)

And just so you know, they have acquired other licenses to miniaturize with the same quality and attention given to their Joker sets.

These sets come ready to be assembled and painted by you!

DC Collectibles announced at the end of last month that they are planning on releasing a new figure based on the INJUSTICE:  GODS AMONG US game play.  The new figure is going to be smaller than the previous one released this year and will provide a new sculpt.  Here is a preview of the figure:

DC Collectibles held a Q&A on their Facebook page about some of their products. They revealed a new Injustice Joker 3.75″ Figure. The image shows a work in progress sculpt, so some details may change. Other than that, for the most part, nothing too revealing. You can check out the rest of the Q&A, and the photo of The Joker, after the jump.

Nice little article  preparing us on what to expect from HARLEY QUINN  when she stars in villain’s month DETECTIVE COMICS #23.2:

Following the explosive events of FOREVER EVIL #1, the Suicide Squad has disbanded. No longer a member of a team, Harley Quinn finds herself free for the first time without any ties to a particular group. On her quest for self-discovery, she returns to Gotham City – but it’s not the same place it was before she left it. So naturally, Harley has a little scheme to shake things up. But that’s all I’ll say about that for now …While Harley’s origin was told in the pages of SUICIDE SQUAD, there’s an untold chapter that will be revealed for the first time in this unique one-shot. You may think you know the whole story of her transition into a super-villain, but when you read the very first meeting between her and The Joker, you’ll see a whole different side of Harley than you’re used to. And for the diehard Harley Quinn fans out there, keep your eyes peeled for a few Easter eggs scattered throughout the issue – like a reference to THE BATMAN ADVENTURES: MAD LOVE (Harley’s first appearance in comics) and a nod to actress Arleen Sorkin, who voiced Harley on the television show, Batman: The Animated Series.

Bob Harras has announced some details of the upcoming appearace of the Joker in October’s BATMAN #23.1.  Here is an excerpt of what he had said in at the DC COMICS site:

I also told you that a classic and unexpected Batman villain will be appearing in the upcoming Villains Month one-shot, BATMAN #23.1: JOKER. Well today, I’m pleased to tell you that the villain I was talking about was none other than Jackanapes (who readers last saw in BATMAN, INCORPORATED #5). BATMAN #23.1: JOKER takes place many years ago – back when The Joker’s face was still intact. In fact, this unique one-shot marks one of the earliest appearances we’ve seen of this notorious villain so far in the New 52. While at a zoo, the Joker will have a flashback to a childhood memory that will trigger his need to take Jackanapes under his wing. It is here that Joker will take on a new, twisted role: that of a mentor. But why is he training Jackanapes to be a villain? What use will he have for him? –

This is a concept art of the Joker to star in the new ARKHAM ORIGINS game being developed by WB Games Montreal.  The studio has apparently reported that Mark Hamill WILL NOT reprise his version of the villain this time but that instead the ORIGINS Joker will be voice by Troy Baker

arkhamoriginjoker01

And from this preview we are going to be looking to a much younger version of the Clown Prince of Crime, probably the reason for selecting a much younger voice actor to portray him.
