I was browsing the net for new figures to acquire, when I stumbled into these…

From a report from this year’s GENCON (the longest, best attended gaming convention in the world according to its site HERE) come these new Joker and Harley Heroclix figures. They will come in a new Batman set and are said to include a “Duo Action” and an “Indomitable” abilities. (I’m not a player, but you guys maybe grasp these concepts better)  I can’t wait to add these guys to my collection though… Here are the pics:

I found this incredible piece of art in BLOODYDISGUSTING.COM (Besides their namesake, this site is dedicated to movies, comics, music and videogame industry), and felt like I had to share it with you guys.

It’s made with LENTICULAR LEGOS which is the first time I hear about them (I am one of the few that has never played with legos until now), but apparently this pieces, once assembled allow you to have two simultaneous images made, each one visible depending on the angle you move the whole mosaic.

This one is an image of Batman that slowly transforms into his nemesis the Joker and the artist is ARTHUR GUGICK  and you can enjoy more of his art HERE. Don’t forget to watch the video underneath to enjoy the magic of this art:

Jock is going to be the back up artist for the Joker story arc in Batman #13-16 and he tweeted this image to BLEEDING COOL who were nice enough to share it with the world.  Million thanks to COMICS XAMINER.COM for sharing this pic

The covers for the November issues of BATMAN #14 and BATGIRL #14 have been circulating for the last few days, allowing for a little tease for the fans of the Clown Prince of Crime.  While many people thought that DC was trying to bring Joker to his TDK look, the images show something different entirely…and the one for Batgirl makes me wonder if he has some unfinished business in mind with Barbara Gordon after The Killing Joke.  Anyways…Here are the previews:

Yeah, I thought I was going to be done with all the Joker-related video gaming from Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Harley’s Revenge, but then I have seen the trailer for the new downloadable material to play in DCU Online.  I never got into that one (though I have to admit I bought the game for all the “extra goodies” that came with it, but I don’t see myself paying monthly  to play online, especially these days.  Just don’t have the time ;ike I used to…then THE LAST LAUGH CAME BY…

detectivecomics12For those of you that are not following comics, I remind you that Joker will be coming back to Gotham and the DC Universe this next October.  I knew they would do something in BATMAN #0, to tease the fans a little of what was to come, but was not expecting the back story on this month’s DETECTIVE COMICS #12… It seems Joker is not only ready to rock and roll, but that our good old Lieutenant Bullock has develop a perverted sense of humor…didn’t see THAT one coming.  Bullock never hit me as a joker…no pun intended.

For you I will share the pages of back story, you guys let me know what you think.  Personally, I will wait until I see what they have in store for my clown.  It’s not the first time I’ve been disappointed by those pesky DC editors:

HeyJokerholics,

The new trailer of the upcoming DC animated film DARK KNIGHT RETURNS has arrived  from our friends at MTV and is not less than amazing. Don’t know how much of the plot they had to “tweak” to fit into the animated version, but I can see that they tried to keep the original Frank Miller style with the art. Also the art on the BD/DVD is killer….take a look at the trailer and give me your opinion..

Oh, and pay attention to the 1:16 minute mark on the video.  Someone is smiling at you, darling!

Part 1 Debuts September 25, 2012!!

(Expect part 2 to be availble sometime in early 2013)
