Remember there was a rumor in the internet that Joker died in Arkham City? Well, JimmyHACK was kind enough to upload the actual footage to clarify any confusion the rumors might have arised. Don’t forget to thank JimmyHACK for posting the video.
Now to the gruesome truth about the Joker’s death. For those who can’t wait to finish the game and see it with their own eyes. Original video posted by XCVii007r1. Let me know what you think I and thank them for the uploads as well
REST IN PEACE JOKER… You might be dead in Arkham City, but you’re still live and kickin’ in DC Universe. Long live the Joker!
I strongly recommend you guys also watch the full credits at the end of the game. What you’d hear will make you smile….a little…(sigh). Joker’s last message before he died. Wonder who did he sent it to, hm… I took the liberty of postinging it here. Click on the video below
Posted in YouTube by FAHEY KOTAKU today (thanks a million fromt he bottom of my heart) we finally get a glimpse of what the Nightwing character can do in Arkham City and he can do a lot of damage. His move are very fluid and acrobatic, just like those of someone with some circus training, and also shows some of the characteristic cockiness that has been the character trademark since its conception. The NIGHTWING PACK seems to be available only after NOVEMBER 1 (from sources unknown, it just says so in the trailer). Now for you all to enjoy it:
I found this nifty video-preview of the new GOTHAM CITY IMPOSTORS to be released early 2012 ( original one person shooterwhere up to 12 players battle for control of an unhinged Gotham City overrun by Impostors inspired by the DC Comics characters Batman and The Joker) as it was previewed in COMIC CON, so you could take a look. Personally, have to admit it looks funny, but I don’t know if I want to invest the money on downloading the game. I will wait for the reviews. In the meantime, have to say that the use of language is totally irreverent and funny, as it is the pretentions of both Jokerz and Batmanz alike that might make this game quite a trip to play. Take a look by yourselves (costume pictures courtesy of CBR):
Just wanted to take a moment to join forces with a friend of mine, Kanike from RANCIDRAINBOW.COM/LEGION (another Batman Joker site) in promoting the new series from Scott McClure: JOKER BLOGS: FURTHER EVIDENCE to debut this OCTOBER 21.
This new series
A brand new mini-series chronicling the events at Arkham Asylum leading up to the explosive Series II of The Joker Blogs. Each episode of this new series will focus on a different character and will reveal more of Series II.
Last month I had posted an amazing voice over job of the KILLING JOKE by LORDJAZOR, a friend of mine who has an incredible talent to voice over Joker stories that are both enjoyable and creepy (Joker should entertain you and make you very scared at the same time). Now I find that our friends at Comic Vine have made their own copilation as well, and had found a few gems out there. First, I’ll recommend you check you the link I provided above to Lorjazor’s voice over. It’s going to blow your mind away. Now see what the guys at Comic Vine found and an excerpt of the article:
The first video depicts the Joker’s monologue in ‘The Killing Joke’ in which he dissects Batman, questioning whether or not Batman had some tragic experience that led him to lead the life he lives. The monologue is presented by voice actor Patrick Girtz, whose Joker voice is spot on. He’s so good that he could probably replace Mark Hamill as the voice of the Joker now that the actor has stated he’s officially retired from performing the role.
THE KILLING JOKE MONOLOGUE (Joker voiced by Patrick Girts)
The second reenactment of ‘The Killing Joke’ is in Spanish, so for those of you that don’t speak the language it may be difficult to understand. However, even though you may not understand espanol, you can still appreciate the beautiful puppetry efforts of the ‘Teatro de Sombras.’ Below is the graphic novel adaptation of ‘The Killing Joke’ for you to enjoy.
THE KILLING JOKE SHADOW PUPPET RE-ENACTING (This is a Spanish version only)
OK, now that you’ve all enjoyed this. Isn’t it time we have a reboot or a remake of the Killing Joke in the visual media as well? I mean, if DC can remake Miller’s BATMAN YEAR ONE with a ‘twist’ I’m sure that the KILLING JOKE would lend itself to a readaptation in the video format too (come on, it’s almost a quarter of a century old). In the meantime….a plea to the people at GRAPHIC AUDIO: since you have a DC licence, why not make an audiobook on the KILLING JOKE…maybe for the 25 year anniversary of the book? We’ll love you all if you did, you know? For ever!
I was browsing the net and I found this little amateur video of the interrogation scene from THE DARK KNIGHT. It comes from the talented people at COLLEGEHUMOR and SPINOFFS ONLINE. Yeah, it’s been a while since TDK and the actors don’t look the part, but that does not matter as the presentation takes over, making this one of the most hilarious movie spoofs I’ve seen in a while. I just wanted to share it with you so you could laugh as much and as hard as I did…
This is a nice gesture of Gamestop to gives us a hint of as to what the Joker’s Carnival map is going to be all about. It promises to be a bunch of fun (and the only reasy I bought Arkham City from them). Remember, the map is only available if you preorder the game and we are less than a month apart from the release, so hurry. Here is a preview:
Oh, and don’t forget. For those fans that PREORDER the game and are members of Gamestop’s POWERUP REWARDS club, the bonus Batman the Animated Series skin is included in the package. Other skins will be available in the US with time according to Rocksteady’s marketing department.
Our friends at MTV UK, have gotten hold of Jokerdom gold! They have the brand new ARKHAM CITY JOKER TRAILER and are sharing it with the world at their site. I saw it and my jaw dropped. In one word, magnificent. Mark Hamill once more steals the show giving us a wonderful and at the same time terrifying view of our favorite psychopath.
Just click on the image and you will be automatically transported to their site.
YEP!!! Another great video by LorJazor impersonating our favorite psycopath. Who knew Joker could sing so…beautifully? HEH HEH. Anyways, this is Joker/LordJazor’s version of the classic Little mermaid song you’ll recognized is just amazing. Please enjoy and leave a comment if you like it. To LordJazor…keep up the good work.
I am a great a fan of LorJazor. The similarities of his voice and Mark Hamill’s are just creepy, and not only that. LorJazor can really act with his voice, making his Joker dubbings realistic and very entertaining. I found recently his version of one of the earliest scenes from the Killing Joke and wanted to share it all with you. Hope you like it as much as I did.
Man, I wish I could commission him to make a dub of the entire Killing Joke or even the Joker GN. I will kill to own such a masterpiece. They could even become classics…what you think?
