The Joker Tape: Arkham City Viral Campaign

We all know from all the buzz on ARKHAM ASYLUM that Joker is just one of many baddies adding to the long list of rogues to make an appearance in the game. From Hugo Strange, Riddler, Penguin, Two-Face, Solomon Grundy, Calendar Man to the newly revealed Mr. Freeze and Deadshot. As part of Rocksteady’s viral campaign they have released audio tapes interviews with the main rogues from Hugo Strange’s collection. Here is the JOKER TAPE with a transcript below. Enjoy!

If only I could take this video as legit…that would be awesome. but I doubt it part of the real game. I know there has been rumors of Joker and Batman eventually joining forces against Strange, but NOWHERE have a seen any video like the one I am about to show you. Definitely it keeps the Joker-Batman chemistry we are all so used to (reminded me of the Batman Joker confrontation video from DCU Mortal Combat). For now, just enjoy

It is well knows that besides Joker, Riddler, Two Face and Hugo Strange, there are a myriad of other criminals making an appearance in the new ARKHAM CITY video game. I found some links to those other appearances and wanted to share it with you all

The first one is the Mr. Freeze trailer. He seems more of a incarnation of his comic version than his tacky and tasteless self from the Batman and Robin movie, and we have to thank Rocksteady for the reinterpretation. This Victor Fries is dangerously ruthless, willing to cross any barrier to get what he wants: Her lovely Nora. Take a look at the trailer, uploaded by Rise of Nightmares:

I was just prancing in the forests of cyberspace when I found this and could not stop replaying it. To me it is a great piece of work. Very well portrayed by both voice actors (Joker gave me the chills along the spine). Not many people liked this comic series, but though this is definitely not the Killing Joke (or your average comic book), I personally loved both the art (Jim Lee) and the characterization (Frank Miller) which I found refreshing.
