The new Batman game of GOTHAM CITY IMPOSTORS has been posted in SONY PS3 STORE and is ready for download. The game is priced at $14.95 but you can download a free demo. The Full Access Key is what costs money to buy so you can play the whole levels.
One word of caution: I bought my copy and I’m having technical difficulties with my installation. The specialists at PS3 Store told me it could be a corrupted file so be careful with the download. It does not affect any other function of the PS3 console, but the game freezes and don’t start. I’ll let you know when I fix the problem and keep you all posted.

With the upcoming release of the new dowloadable game GOTHAM CITY IMPOSTERS (available for Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms in January 10, 2012) CBR released another little clip about the game. Remember, a console beta for the game is out this month and for fans wishing to take part on the beta, they will need to register at www.GothamCityImpostors.com.
CBR published updated information on the new downloadable WB based on the Batman franchise: GOTHAM CITY IMPOSTORS. Here is what they had to say:
Prepare to lock and load, because the Batmen and the Jokerz are preparing to take over the city. WB Games has announced that “Gotham City Impostors,” a multiplayer first-person shooter game based loosely around the Batman universe, will arrive for download on PC, Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network on January 10, 2012. The game should sell for $14.99, or 1200 Microsoft points, respectively.
To get players prepared for the upcoming multiplayer sessions, WB has also announced it will be launching its open beta in December for all platforms. This beta will let players test the game out early, complete with all its gadgets and character customization options.
“Gotham City Impostors” is an original download-only first-person shooter where up to 12 players battle for control of an unhinged Gotham City overrun by Impostors inspired by the DC Comics characters Batman and The Joker. Gotham City Impostors is an online multiplayer game unlike any other, giving players the opportunity to engage in unconventional urbane warfare as they personalize their own Impostors. Gamers will create their very own version of the Bats or the Jokerz characters using unprecedented customization options including insane costumes, homemade gadgets and a wide range of traditional and inventive weapons. The game will feature maps and modes inspired by DC Comics’ Batman license.
I found this nifty video-preview of the new GOTHAM CITY IMPOSTORS to be released early 2012 ( original one person shooterwhere up to 12 players battle for control of an unhinged Gotham City overrun by Impostors inspired by the DC Comics characters Batman and The Joker) as it was previewed in COMIC CON, so you could take a look. Personally, have to admit it looks funny, but I don’t know if I want to invest the money on downloading the game. I will wait for the reviews. In the meantime, have to say that the use of language is totally irreverent and funny, as it is the pretentions of both Jokerz and Batmanz alike that might make this game quite a trip to play.
