hoa!   You ever wonder what makes the Joker tick?  Well, in this very interesting issue, we have a chance to see into the twisted psyche of our beloved Clown Psychopath and see him from his humble beginnings until the present day (in the DCU at least)  All these seen through our protagonist, the Atom who has been brought to Arkham to treat Joker from a severe neurological disease that could kill him.

Why don’t let the Joker die, you may want to ask?  Well, that is the same dilema that Atom faces, and his choice does not come free of risks, for getting into the Joker’s mind could be extremely dangerous on its own right.

The plot is simple, and some of the ideas are not new (psychotic child who kills his own family, a criminal life, etc) to the DCU, but I personally enjoyed the twisted reasoning of Joker explaining why he pushes the rules of the world to the extreme, and his final goal.  Please, enjoy these scans….

Little dreamer at school, with one big mouth. J…you’re really weird.

Please don’t get little J angry.  It’s not a pretty sight.

Prelude of things to come.

No one really understands him… poor little J

And he decides to start the first day of the rest of his life with a bonfire…

Temper..temper…. Need to work on that J.

The Atom gets a little Clown overload.  Sorry, I know he just wanted to help.

"I’m just an artist" really my friend

 Let me explain….

Long lasting effects?  I think Atom had too much to handle…let’s see how long can he handle it.
